The Jump Rope - Great Techniques And Tricks To Help Your Fitness And Weightloss

The Jump Rope - Great Techniques And Tricks To Help Your Fitness And Weightloss

Jump Starter

This Is an Article following on from another article (The Jump Rope - Perfect Fitness And Weightloss Tool) and will concentrate on using the rope properly and getting the most from it. The jump rope/skipping rope is an amazing tool for fitness and losing unwanted weight and learning to use it is invaluable.

As you become more comfortable with skipping and start to improve in speed and technique, trying other combinations will improve your stamina and start working different parts of the body. Here are some of the usual ways to skip....

The Basic Jump- Starting out as a beginner you must master this jump before moving on. Keeping both feet slightly apart you jump over the rope and start to build up timing and speed.

Switch Feet- As you master the basic jump, start to switch feet, skipping on one foot for two skips switching to the other foot, helping build up great coordination.

The Cross-Over - Very Tricky but fun. After finding you rhythm and speed, and by skipping using either The Basic Or Switch Feet, as the rope goes over the head, cross your right arm over to the left and visa verse for the left, arms crossing over the body while jumping through the gap of the rope.

The Double Under - A great all body workout jump, also makes you look like a pro. For this, you need to jump a little higher and the rope should be swung faster so as you jump it passes under your feet twice. Great buttocks workout.

The Ski-Step- This is a great skip to get a flat stomach and work your abs. Basically you just skip and move your feet from side to side.

Combinations - Considering there are hundreds of different techniques and combinations, when skipping mix it up. Learn new moves, check out other skippers. Changing your skipping while training will improve technique, concentration, heart pace and make it more enjoyable.

The Right Rope

Finding yourself the right rope is very easy, as there are tons to choose from, and finding one that feels comfortable should do the trick. The rope length should not be an issue either, as if the rope is to long, with-out having to cut it, just tie a knot in it near the handle to you get the right length.

To make sure the rope is ready for use, stand your two feet on the rope and by holding the handles, make sure the rope reaches the armpits, perfect length.

Buy a quality one, you want to get your time and value out of it. Consider what type you want, such as maybe a speed rope which are light weight for fast jumping, woven rope which do not bounce of the ground, or the beaded ropes which are a great all round rope. My preference is the speed rope, I'd be lost without it.

Get Jumping!!!!!!

So get jumping. Skipping is a great, fun, cheap way of improving fitness, coordination, burning calories, the total body work-out. And by incorporating it with your fitness regime, Especially with a morning run, drinking plenty of water, eating a healthy diet, the rope can become your best friend, Enjoy!!

Bike Review - Kuota Kharma Carbon Road Race

Not everyone has the money to buy the Tour de France miracle machines on the market. More and more people for a good value in a powerful carbon road bike look. And 'here as a motorcycle races Kuota Kharma entering Many of the features of high-end models with a more modest price. Four years ago, a picture like this would have been $ 6,000 on a bicycle. Now the bike is less than half.

Kharma is the race to build a complete bike or frameas you want. The wheels are available with Shimano 105 or Ultegra or SRAM Rival. I tried the Rival equipped bikes. During a review of the group for another article, it works fine. Shifts are quick and precise feel with a good lever.

The heart of any bike is the frame, and what the heart of the race was Kharma. The trajectory of the fall of the upper tube directs our attention to the cluster based aerodynamic. All pipes come together. Unusually for a bike of this price range are the frame tubesaerodynamically optimized to help cut the wind. This includes a cutout to the back of the seat tube and a support surface is shaped like a saddle. Help the air resistance accounts for about 90 percent of the resistance when driving on level ground, every little. The fit is a bit 'more relaxed than it is high-end siblings, with a slightly shorter top tube the same size all the tubes are shaped to provide a good balance of aerodynamics, stiffness and weight. And the Italian asThe design is a glow certainly clear that you do not see too many of the major brands. They are characterized by the stroke of a local group Kuota Kharma, because they are not cookie cutter production motorcycles.

But this is just the design. The ride quality is the real star of the show. As I already said that this was a top of the frame a few years ago, he was not exaggerating. I used to drive the Orbea Orca and it reminds me what this bike. Stiff, but not hard. Light and. Management is responding fast but not nervous. Very good balance with a good feeling. If you right out of the saddle sprinting or climbing a mountain, is the driving force to the rear wheels. This does not seem a starter bike in carbon fiber company. If you put on a series of racing bikes you can drive any race or have the legs for the competition.

The kit is equipped to build the bike is solid with Deda bars and stem, Selle San Marco Ponza saddle, and Shimano R-500 wheels. Theirmay be necessary, its parts well, as the fit of this exchange is not a matter for everyone, but it is common to every bike. The only area I suggest an upgrade if you want to run or would simply speed wheels. The Shimano wheels are fine as a training wheel, but either are not bright enough to ride or wheel aero carbon rims unless you have deep circles ridden you will not find a problem.

The race is part of my Kharma criteria of a working class movement. It 'easy, butdifficult. Good price on it significantly with the price tag performance.
